We came down from Auckland and we thought we would be up with the times BUT, the Pack n Save here is like from the future! They have self service checkouts, scan and go, and electronic price tags! WOW!!

Working Holiday

I'm Phoenix, come from China. I used about one year to get the working holiday visa and NZ is a very lovely country. I got NZ only 10 days, but get a lot help, very lucky, I'm going to South Island to do fruit picking, hope to see u again Wellington :)

Escape Into The City

I'm the sort of person who loves an adventure and every time I go to the city it always offers new opportunities. Being from Lower Hutt, it's always nice to escape for a sunny day in the weekend and have lunch and enjoy the diverse range of people.

Dealing With The Wet

Today is a typical day in our beloved Wellington! It's wet, windy and chilly this winter afternoon! But we just take the bus, get used to wet trouser cuffs and get on with it! We love Wellington, weather and all.

A Move From Azerbaijan

I'm Delan. I'm 11 years old for most of my life I've been a Kiwi but before that I lived in Azerbaijan that is my birthplace for 5 years then we moved here to Wellington. I love it here apart from the wet and windy part of course! =) <3

Grandma and the Science Project

My story begins on a wet winters morning. It was wet.  Must be the rain.
Grandma had woken me up to finish my science project. It was due that day and it wasn't finished. "What's that? It's a kereru. It must have caught in the storm. That's why it's got a cough." Thought Billy. "We'd better give it some cough syrup" said grandma. She could read minds and finish science projects. The science project got finished and then he got a gold star.

Freedom Camping

We are Jakob and Camilia from Germany.
